Rent-A-Lab is a unique concept by which a laboratory spectrometer user can rent a system to cover their production analysis when their system is down for repair or is in need of replacement.

Typical replacement times can be anywhere from 4 to 12 weeks depending on the vendor and the systems requirements. Long term repairs or system upgrades can take a week if all goes well. Renting a system allows for the “seamless operation” of the lab during these times of need. Eliminating the need for samples to be sent out reduces turnaround time and the chances of non compliant heats being processed.

• Rent-A-Lab currently uses either a Belec Vario or a Belec In-Spect laboratory system depending on the base material to be analyzed and the elements and ranges needed for alloy compliance.

• Rent-A-Lab shoots for a 48 hour response time from contact to installation at your facility.

• Rent-A-Lab comes complete with set up and training.

• Rental does not begin until the instrument is operational and meeting your testing requirements.

 

Rental periods can be as short as one week or as long as you would like.

Current base materials that can be covered by the Rent-A-Lab program are Aluminum, Copper, Cast Iron, Carbon and low alloy steel, stainless steel, and Nickel based alloys.
